How to Forma your messages text

WhatsApp providing a hidden feature to format selected text inside your messages. Read some simple tricks to beautify your selected text inside your message.

1 : Italic

To make italic your selected text in message, place an underscore on both sides of the text

2 : Bold

To bold your selected text inside message, place an asterisk on both sides of the text

*text*

3 : Strikethrough

To strikethrough your selected text inside message you have to place a tilde on both sides of the text

4 : Monospace

To monospace your selected text inside message, just place three backticks on both sides of the text

Other ways to format your text :

• On Android, you can tap and hold the text you're typing > More  > and choose among bold, italic, strikethrough and monospace.
• On iPhone, you can tap and hold the text you're typing > BIU > and choose among bold, italic and strikethrough.
